Hello Everyone! We have just pushed a Beta release fixing a couple of user-reported items. Please help us test these out before we push the changes to production on Wednesday.

Released changes
1. Collapse Level by Heading Size (H1, H2, H3...)
The chevron on the outline page did not allow users to collapse by heading size, even after toggling Infer hierarchy from Heading Size under General settings.
Known issue: Chevron sometimes gets its expanded & collapsed state confused. This is just an icon issue (functionality still works).
❤️🔥 Infer hierarchy by heading size is one of my favorite features of Legend because I want to have 8 levels of depth without indenting 8 times. I use left-aligned H1..H4s and with indentation for various sections that can go 2-4 levels deep.
2. HTML backups for Printing or Archiving
Customers can now easily print or use their notes in other applications by adding HTML backups. We will support .md exports at a later time.
3. Custom Path for local-backup folder
Known issue - clicking HTML isn't happening on some devices (will fix by Wednesday)

How do I switch to beta?
Web users can easily switch to the Beta version by navigating to beta.legendapp.com/. Desktop app users can switch to Beta by clicking Use Beta version in the toolbar drop-down and clicking update when you see the banner, or by clicking check for updates after switching to Beta, like so:
